For our 2018-19 season we have an especially varied programme including the highly regarded Endellion Quartet playing Mozart, Dvořák and Beethoven, a piano trio of established period instrument specialists, together with some less often heard instrumental groupings: a horn and piano duo with local musician Alec Frank-Gemmil in a recital based on the life of an early-19th century virtuoso horn player, a string trio led by the distinguished leader of the London Symphony Orchestra, Roman Simović, and the delectable sound of the Pelleas ensemble of flute, viola and harp, whose programme includes the Elegaic Trio by Arnold Bax.. We also have early music ensemble The Brook Street Band performing music associated with the celebrated eighteenth century Italian soprano, Margarita Durastanti, who had a long professional association with Handel. And we have our regular Sunday afternoon concert in which two chosen contestants in the Sevenoaks Young Musicians Competition share a program that gives an opportunity to hear some up and coming young musical talent.
